WHY YOGA?

Allison has completed over a hundred hours of prenatal and postnatal yoga teacher training with Yoga Alliance's nationally approved trainings. She's ready to get to know you and support  you mentally, physically and spiritually through your birth journey and beyond by marrying your mind with your body. Yoga is a powerful resource during pregnancy, and in the tiring, changing times of new motherhood. Allison finds that women who are more connected to their bodies and their breath are able to birth their babies with more ease.

“Yoga has been such a gift to me on and off the mat.  This gift is what I hope to share with my students.”

what allison’s client’s say

“Allison will instantly become your favorite yoga instructor; the way she interacts with everyone is down to earth and highly engaging. Her classes are a wonderful balance of a rocking workout, mindfulness and fun. She offers a little bit of everything for everyone, whatever their fitness or ability, layering and tailoring her sequences to meet them where they are in your practice. Allison is incredibly knowledgeable about yoga practices, especially for mamas, and is very approachable. I can't recommend her enough.”

“My passion for yoga was sparked during my first pregnancy.  Now as a mother of three girls, my own sanity is found on the mat.  I enjoy leading a sweaty soulful vinyasa flow in small classes, as well as guiding mommas-to-be and postpartum moms through mindful meditations and physically empowering pre- and postnatal flows in private lessons. I truly believe when we connect the mind and body, we become stronger in every aspect of our lives; a beautiful strength we can pass on to our child and community.”
